Mass Consumerism

Version 2We’re getting ready to experience another holiday season.  It’s the beginning of November and the holidays are approaching.

You know what that means. It means that the entire world will be spending their hard earned money on materialistic items.

Do we really need more stuff?  Don’t we have enough of the latest Apple, Android etc devices.

Trinkets bring only temporary happiness.  Experiences bring lasting happiness.

Real wealth, security, and contentment come not from the trinkets we amass, but how we spend the one life we have been given. – The Minimalists

I have an idea.  This year for the holidays instead of giving gifts – give experiences.

Remember It’s Only Stuff

  1. I wish to show some appreciation to this writer for rescuing me from such a setting. After looking throughout the world-wide-web and coming across suggestions that were not powerful, I thought my life was gone. Living minus the approaches to the issues you’ve sorted out by way of your main website is a crucial case, and ones that could have in a negative way affected my career if I had not come across your web blog. Your own personal skills and kindness in playing with all the stuff was priceless. I am not sure what I would have done if I had not discovered such a step like this. I can at this time relish my future. Thanks for your time very much for the professional and sensible help. I won’t think twice to endorse your blog post to anybody who should receive guidelines on this topic.
