Can we really change our behavior?
It’s the end of 2014, only a few precious days left for this year. We usually attempt to make and then break all of our New Year’s Resolutions within a few days or weeks.
Were gonna go to the gym, eat healthy, stop procrastinating etc…..Notice all those things are behaviors, its only when we change our association – beliefs – to those behaviors do we see long lasting change.
We cannot solve problems at the level of behavior.
Behavior is not the cause of the issue – its the symptom. The cause is the belief that expresses itself thru behavior. Behavior, behavior, behavior. You can say it a million times and it still won’t change the fact that the only sure fire way to make permanent change is to change our beliefs. All behaviors are sponsored by beliefs.
After we change our beliefs our behaviors have no choice but to comply with our new beliefs. Kinda strange how that works, but it does.
I guess the real question is – Can we really change our beliefs?
Try changing a belief and see if it actually does change your behavior. You might just be surprised.
