Our thoughts are what I’m referring to. Fohgettaboutthem. We should keep focused on the fact that thoughts are just that – thoughts. They aren’t the truth or even real, they are an illusion. Every thought pretends that it matters so much.
The human condition – lost in thought.
A rewarding spiritual practice would be to not take our thoughts too seriously. Thoughts are usually fantasy. They come and go rather quickly, don’t they?
I’m currently re-reading a book entitled “Stillness Speaks” by Eckhart Tolle. His work has been inspiring to me and has led me down a path with a sense of elation and excitement.
Stillness is a practice we should use daily. It allows us to escape the world from the daily grind. It’s my daily gift to myself. Stillness is abundant – please help yourself.
When I find myself stuck for answers I use Stillness. True intelligence operates silently. Stillness is where creativity and solutions to problems are found. Try it for yourself. I’m on this journey just as you are. My experiences tell me that it works. You can always stop doing them if they don’t work for you. However – they work.
These ideas that I share and use myself are not faith based, they are evidence based. Find your own evidence. Listen to your inside voice and explore.
